Stinkwater to be affected by Water Treatment

The City’s Water and Sanitation Department will shut down the Temba Water Treatment Plant on 03 May 2016 to carry out maintenance work on the inlet tower bypass.
The service interruption period will be from 08:00 to18:00.
The following areas will be affected:
• Stinkwater
• Dilopye
• Temba
• Babelegi Industrial area
• Marokolong
• Ramotse
• Majaneng
• Mandela Village
• Sekampaneng
• Hammanskraal
The City has arranged roaming water tankers to ensure that water is available to the residents in the above-mentioned areas. Residents are urged to use water sparingly to ensure that the reservoir retains its capacity.
